My Banners - How does the banner rotator work?

Add a banner by entering the target URL (the webpage you want the user to go to when they click on the banner) and the image URL (the web address where the banner is hosted. This should end in either '.gif','.jpg' or '.png') and clicking the 'Add Banner' button.

Banners should ideally be 468 pixels x 60 pixels as this is the size they will be displayed at on the surfbar.
Check in the list if your banner seems OK. If it is not appearing delete the banner from the list and try again.

There is no need to assign credits as banners are displayed for free! Each time one of your banners is clicked on it will cost you one credit which will be deducted from your credit balance.

The columns in your Banners List are:
ID This is your banners unique database ID.
Status This can be either:
Active - your banner is rotating in the system.
Paused - you have paused your banner to temporarily stop rotation.
Disabled - your banner has been disabled by admin.
Exposures Your banner has been shown this many times.
Click thrus Your banner has been clicked on this many times.
Weight A banner set to 5 will show 5x more often than a banner set to 1. Just click one of the linked numbers to set the desired weighting.
Pause Click to temporarily stop banner from rotating. The link will now read 'Activate'. Click again to enable.
Delete Click to remove your banner from the system.

Below each row of columns is your banner image, click on it and your target URL will open in a new window.

Banner exposure distribution
If all active banners have the same weight they will all get equal exposure.
By changing weight you are able to distribute more exposure to high-weighted banners.
By pausing a banners exposure, distribution to the banner is stopped and any remaining active banners will get more exposure.
